This place is an attempt to gather and safeguard as much of Ilia’s Jr & Sr competitive years as I could in one VPN-free place (we'll see how long that lasts) in the best quality I could get. Most of it comes from satellite feed; some footage, however - mostly his junior entries - only exists on the ISU channel (or at least that's the only place I could find them) so in those cases the quality is whatever they were willing to give us that day (which, as you may know, can vary quite a bit).
This is not a professional project by any means. It started, quite simply, because my hard drive threatened to give up after me piling up years of men’s competition feed footage in a giant “I’ll sort it out later” folder. When “later” finally arrived, young and innocent me thought it would be a matter of a weekend to sort it all out... flashforward to a month later, as I was almost done, it occurred to me that I was actually sitting on a pile of HD content and that there may be other people out there who would enjoy it. So that’s really how it began: me trying to find a way to make it accessible and useful for others, and to have it all in one place, in (mostly) high quality for anyone. And as figure skating is a lost-media maze, where availability shifts constantly and depends more and more on VPN viability, I gess this is my small contribution to try and preserve it the best I can. In the end even if there's only ever 2 people who stumble in there and find something to enjoy, it'll still have been worth it!
I know this is definitely far from perfect but it's also a pet project made on my free time so please.. be kind :)
(Also english isn't my first language so it might get funky sometimes)
